Spanx Clothing Review: The Leggings, Bras and Underwear I Keep Rebuying
You know you’ve made it as a brand when your name basically becomes the word for the product. That’s how I feel about Spanx and shapewear.
Ever since those faux leather leggings came out, I’ve been slowly adding more and more Spanx pieces to my closet, and I honestly haven’t been disappointed by a single thing.
First, the underwear. The Spanx Understatements thong is the most comfortable thong I’ve ever worn. Yes, the Hanky Panky thongs are comfortable too, but for me nothing beats the Spanx version. They’re soft, stay in place, and somehow you completely forget you’re wearing them.
Then there are the leggings. I probably own six pairs at this point. Everything from sequined leggings I wore on New Year’s Eve to my favorite workout leggings. One thing Spanx consistently gets right is the back seam. It’s always rounded, which makes your butt look great. Once you notice the difference, you won’t want to buy leggings with a straight seam again.
And don’t sleep on their bras either. I wear their bras almost exclusively now. They’re supportive, comfortable, and don’t have all the annoying digging and adjusting that so many bras do. At this point in life, uncomfortable bras are just not happening.
They also recently came out with a jogger set. I only have the pants so far, but they are incredibly soft and comfortable. Perfect for road trips, lounging at home, or running errands.
So far I’ve loved every Spanx purchase I’ve made, and if you haven’t tried their clothing beyond the original shapewear, you’re definitely missing out.
